“I signed for three years with the Kolkata (Bengal) state team and I’m doing about 30 days of work in a year,” Muralitharan said. “I was supposed to play in the Caribbean league. I gave it up. I told the Big Bash League I’m not coming and also the IPL – I’ve advised them I’m not going to be available. “My future plans are just to help spinners all around the world. That’s the role I’m going to play,” he added. Muralitharan played past two seasons for Melbourne Renegades in BBL and took 19 wickets in 16 matches. Earlier this year, Muralitharan was bought by IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for Rs 1 crore. He played five matches this year for the Bangalore team.
